Roof Waterproofing Treatment

The roof is the single most vulnerable part of any motorhome, caravan or RV. It cops the full force of the New Zealand sun, sits under trees dropping sap and debris, catches every heavy downpour, and is almost never inspected or cleaned by owners. Over time, the silicone sealants around vents, hatches, aerials and panel joins begin to shrink, crack and lift — and once water finds its way in, it very rarely finds its own way back out. What starts as a tiny gap in a bead of silicone can eventually cause soft floors, rotten framing, delaminated panels and repair bills in the thousands.

Our Roof Waterproofing Treatment is built specifically to prevent that from ever happening. We apply Noxyde, an industrial-grade elastomeric waterproof membrane originally developed for commercial roofing, adapted for use across the range of motorhome and caravan roof substrates we see day-to-day. Rather than chasing individual leaks with more silicone every year, Noxyde forms a single continuous flexible membrane across the entire roof — sealing existing joints, hairline cracks and vulnerable transitions in one go. It's fully UV-stable, remains flexible in cold and heat, and carries a proven service life of up to 15 years in New Zealand conditions.

Every roof is done indoors at our Mount Wellington workshop in Auckland, which means no weather delays, no dust settling into wet coats, and full control over the environment while the membrane cures.
